How To Get The Most Out Of PLR

Private Label Rights materials can be quite helpful to internet marketers. What are private label rights materials? Private Label Rights, also known as PLR, are materials sold in bulk to website owners and other marketers; they can be in the form of videos, audio files or articles. When someone buys PLR, they understand that they are paying a low price for non-unique content that will be purchased by many buyers. PLR products are purchased for a variety of reasons. No matter what your present business model, you can probably find a good use for PLR. There are good ways to use PLR and not so good ways to use PLR. These techniques will help you use PLR in a way that brings you the most benefits.

You’ll do best with PLR articles if you use them as a blueprint. Before using these articles, you should rewrite the material in your own words. You can use the PLR article as the place to get the facts or basic information you need. With this information at your fingertips, writing your own articles becomes simple. If you rewrite the article, you can then use it as unique content on your blog or website or sell it to someone else who needs articles. When you have rewritten articles they can also be submitted to article directories. Once you have rewritten an article, you can also use it on your own niche site. You are definitely better off posting or submitting content that can be considered original rather than duplicate. See what all the buzz is about at this Halloween Super Affiliate web page.

You can also create an e-book by compiling PLR articles on the same topic. Having private label rights articles in front of you can save you a great deal of time that would otherwise be spend surfing the internet doing research. If you have a group of private label rights articles on a single subject, you have all the material you need for an e-book, which can be your own product that you can sell. To create a book, of course, you’ll have to do a little editing so that the articles all seem to be part of a single work, but this does should not take too much time.

Then there are those internet marketers who acquire private label rights and then turn right around and sell them to others in order to make money. This is a legal practice as long as you buy licenses that give permission to do this. If you can’t sell the items as they are, you can make some minute changes to the PLR items to create new ones before selling those. Depending on your work ethic and patience, this can be quite an easy way to earn extra money. Making money can seem to be a challenge but have a peek at this Halloween Super Affiliate web page.

These are just a couple ways PLR or private label rights can be used to help enhance your internet marketing efforts. Just remember: other people are using the exact same materials that you just purchased. That is what PLR means: that you are not the only person to purchase these items. That’s the risk you take: making use of them when others may make use of them too. If that sits will with you, you can use PLR to effectively grow your marketing business.

Avoiding Internet Marketing Outsourcing Disasters

Outsourcing is the latest buzz word to hit Internet Marketing circles, teleseminars, and niche websites. It is certainly not a new concept to outsource work, but like so much else in our lives, the Internet has given rise to a new dimension of this popular technique. Because of this, there are a number of issues to keep in mind when looking at outsourcing as a viable alternative to doing it yourself.

For good reason, outsourcing is a concept that internet marketing professionals and newbies alike should acquaint themselves with. Because a large number of internet marketers are running the show by themselves or with a limited pool of additional assistance, there are just too many tasks to complete alone. In addition to the time factor, it is simply not possible for any one individual to possess all the technical skills necessary to accomplish all aspects running an internet marketing business.

With time and skill level being the two primary factors that lead Internet Marketing to outsource, it is important to understand which of these two needs you are fulfilling when you proceed to outsource.

When analyzing your outsourcing needs on the basis of time constraints, it is advisable to have a good understanding of what an hour of your time is worth relative to the task at hand.

For example, let’s say it takes you six hours to accomplish a redundant task and it would take about 15 minutes for you to teach someone else to do it for you. Then look at what you may be able to accomplish in that same six hour period. Would you be able to use that time to finish an ebook that could be resold for untold profits, or write thousands of lines of code to package and resell? If so, then any modest fee that is paid to outsource that redundant task could be worth its weight in gold.

Outsourcing on the basis of skill level becomes a little trickier and this is where most internet marketers who are new to outsourcing can get themselves in trouble. It is imperative to keep in mind that even though you may be outsourcing an activity that you are not capable of doing yourself, you still need to be in control.

This is your business and your image and income depends on it. Failure to have a firm grasp on what you are outsourcing will almost always mean that the end result will not live up to your expectations. And this is not productive for you or the individual you have contracted with.

Communication is the key component when outsourcing a task that you are not readily able to do yourself. For example, let’s say you are not the greatest artist in the world and you contract with a designer to develop header and ebook cover graphics for your sales page. Telling the designer nothing more than the title of your ebook and expecting the graphics of your dreams to result is just not going to happen.

The more detailed you can be about your likes, dislikes and expectations, the greater the chance that you will be thrilled with the end result. Remember, just because the designer has skills that you don’t, one of those skills probably isn’t reading minds! If you don’t like the color green, there is no way someone is going to know this unless you tell them.

Another area where Internet Marketing get into trouble is when the outsourcing project involves technical skills or programming. This can be particularly difficult if both sides are not communicating properly.

A non-programmer often sees a project as being far less complex due to a lack of knowledge about the mechanics involved in the programming process. End users are used to just clicking buttons and having things work; they never have to deal or think about what goes on with the coding behind the scenes.

This can have both an impact on the perceived value of the outsourcing bid as well as the time frame and ultimate functionality of the programming project. Misunderstandings with all of these things can be greatly reduced by taking time to clearly and concisely define the project parameters ahead of time. Again, the importance of communication here cannot be stressed enough.

Finally, it is never a good idea to outsource anything you don’t understand or cannot measure. This isn’t to say that you need to understand the mechanics behind the process, but you definitely need to understand the result.

For example, it is not unusual to see bid requests on popular outsourcing sites requesting 200+ inbound links from PR7 or greater sites to be completed within 24 hours. While this may or may not be an exaggeration, the point is, if you are asking for this and adamant that you want to get your money’s worth, you better be prepared to have a means in place with which to judge someone’s performance in completing this task. Otherwise, it is just a recipe for disaster.

Simply put, if you want something done to your satisfaction, you need to be prepared ahead of time to know when that point is reached.

Remember, outsourcing in many ways is just the virtual version of an employee or subcontractor. If you have ever been an employer who created a job description, along with it you most likely implemented a means of gauging the employee’s performance. And as an employee, you knew exactly what was expected of you and the consequences of failure.

Today’s outsourcing concepts are based upon the same time honored principles used in business throughout the ages and understanding this will greatly increase your odds of success.

My Internet Marketing Isn’t Working for me!

by Russell Marsh

[Russell brings up some key points for small business Internet marketing and individual Internet marketing here.  To succeed, you need to focus, persist, and have discipline.  Working from home is, indeed solitary and can become repetitious, so you need to factor things into you life to deal with problems Internet marketers face.  The article does not tell you how to succeed in online business, but it does give you the steps to take to avoid failure in online business ventures.  Gren. Bingham]

The Dream of Internet Marketing from home sounds great but there are three things working against you and you have top guard against them. The first thing is working on your own, the second is the temptation to jump from one program to the next and the third the constant bombardment of new products and the temptations they provide. How are you to overcome these distractions?

You need some Discipline

If you are to work from home it is going to take some serious discipline if you are to make your business a success. You have to decide when to work. You have to make sure you don’t get lazy and waste a morning or an afternoon here and there. Always be determined to get up away from the TV and do something constructive for your business.

It can be lonely working at home on your own. Be sure to control your time effectively and with discipline. You need to remain productive within your scheduled work hours.

It also takes self-discipline to not spend hours going over e-mails instead of working. It is recommended that you limit the number of e-mail lists you join. Why subscribe to 50 e-mail lists and then have to spend two hours wading through your inbox deleting all those e-mails?

Signing up for two or three e-mail lists should be enough. Limit it to the experts you really want to hear from. Or better yet, subscribe to their RSS feeds.

Products are being released every day, each one of them claiming to be the next millionaire maker. Be very careful in your assessment of these products and only buy something you think may make an amazing difference to your business.

Having said that about new products if you see one that could save you some hours, then give it careful consideration. Time is valuable to you and if you become more efficient by investing in a tool (or a service) that automates something then this could be a wise investment.

Always watch out for glowing reports and testimonials. Quite often these people are affiliates of the product and you need to sure they are not this but genuine users. Don’t forget it’s a Tool you are considering. You wouldn’t buy a new hammer unless your old one was broken so treat your home business the same way.

Stay on Focus

A proper business plan is essential to make sure you stay focused and therefore to your success and to keep distractions at bay so devote some time to making one initially then make sure that you do NOT deviate from it.

If, after a reasonable amount of effort and time you find that your program or project is not working out for you the it may be time to consign it to the failed enterprises folder. Not everything works and there will be some casualties along the way. Make sure you’re not giving up on something just because something else looks new and exciting though. Do this once and you could be business hopping forever.

To avoid becoming bored with some of the more routine tasks you will have to perform change your routine around a little after a period of time. Write a new schedule so you change the order of tasks around. We all need a little variety from time to time. Why not network with other home business owners from time to time? You could pick up some good advice for free.

Be aware that it may take a while before you have your business plan sufficiently fluid that you can maintain your business tasks without it becoming tedious. Constantly monitor your plan and tweak it rather than abandon it at the first sign of boredom. Don’t dump a perfectly good plan for the sake of a couple of tweaks.

6 Steps To Profitable Websites

by Mark Thompson

[As usual Mark is spot on about what is needed to build a profitable website.  He might call it six steps to online business success.  I can't emphasise too strongly his point about planning your website using a piece of paper, sketch your website design from both a customer viewing perspective and a business flow perspecitve.  Also take time to understand your customer, there can be a potential market that has no demand for the product.  Read on, take note, succeed!  Gren. Bingham]

When it comes to building a profitable website you need to plan and prepare first. Far too many people will have an idea for a particular type of website and then straight away buy the domain name and then start to build it without actually thinking through what it is they need to do. Just like these people I would build hundreds of websites and then spend time constantly moving from one to the next without any real plans in place. However today I have learn that it is much better to concentrate on have no more than 20 sites and because of this I have seen my income dramatically increase.

There are 6 steps you should take to ensure that you create websites that are profitable. Stick to this formula and you’ll rapidly increase you income. Before you even think about building a site get yourself a ring binder and some paper you should create a section for each site you want to create. You could do this on a PC but trust me on this you’ll use it much more if it’s in a folder next to you PC.

The first step is to carry out Keyword Research. It is at this stage you will need to think about the niches and the sections that you will need to have. The niche you choose can be on any subject that you want, and as you will soon discover there are many niches which also have very profitable sub niches which you may wish to explore. Although Cars as your niche website would be good one about SUV’s as a sub niche or even one on carburretors would be much more beneficial. The most important thing to remember about keyword research is that you need to find a good mix of keywords. Look for those which have very little competition against them and look for those that will provide you with a challenge when it comes to promoting your site.

The next step when it comes to creating and building a profitable website is planning. A lot of people forget about this stage and completely miss it out, you shouldn’t. So you now need to get a piece of paper from your folder and jot down what the different areas of your site are going to be. It is during this time you need to decide just how you want your site to look and whether you want to have sub directories within it or just have separate sections within the site. Just by jotting down a few things and keeping a note of these will help you in the future as you will be able to see immediately what site models you have used previously work well and which ones haven’t.

The building stage comes next. In the planning stage you should have decided what tool you are going to use to build your site. There are many available some are free others cost hundreds of dollars. If you are just starting out I would suggest using Wordpress as it’s free and can be easily installed from many websites Cpanel.

Promotion is the bit where many people fall down. They do enough to get the site indexed but then they get bored and build a new site. STOP! You must promote your site good promotion should be ongoing. Try to spend an hour a day for at least 2 weeks promoting your site.

A site will only survive if it receives traffic. The traffic it receives will come from a number of different sources. But in order for the traffic to know about the site you need to promote it properly. The more properly a site is promoted the more chances are that you will start to receive traffic from search engines. This kind of organic search traffic is completely free and is what any good website owner should be striving to achieve.

For many webmasters monetization is their main objective in order that they can earn an income from their sites. But the trouble is that most of them will monetize their sites too early. Instead what I prefer to do after building mine is leave them alone for about 3 months before actually monetizing them. There is no real reason to immediately add Adsense to any sites you build as it may well affect your sites ranking and without traffic being directed towards it you are unlikely to make any money from it.

If you start to incorporate the these 6 basic steps into your site building routine you soon start to see the benefit. Along with the increased profits you find the confidence to take on bigger and more profitable projects.
